Meet the Team

MARC PULVAR – REGIONAL SECRETARY
Marc PULVAR is the Regional Secretary of the Caribbean Fellowship of Evangelical Students (CARIFES). As a university student in Martinique, Marc gave his life to Christ through the witness of faithful Christian students of the Groupe Biblique Universitaire (GBU). During that time, he was studying English and Linguistics. Later he went to the UK to do a degree in theology. Marc first served CARIFES as the coordinator for the French territories of the Caribbean region. Then in 2005, he became the Associate Regional Secretary. In 2019, Marc was appointed Regional Secretary of the Caribbean region. His vision is to develop a stronger regional structure for CARIFES, empowering the organization to raise up a new generation of leaders and disciples of Christ.

KERWIN STUART – ASSOCIATE REGIONAL SECRETARY
As a teenager, Mr. Kerwin Stuart responded to the call of God to serve in full-time ministry. He began this mission in the late ‘90s, working with students in Guyana, the land of his birth. Today, Kerwin is married to the lovely Ms. Ayodele Stuart and continues his ministry to students in the CARIFES regional office, where now he serves as the Associate Regional. Kerwin believes that the source of a transformed life is only found when a person accepts Christ as both their Lord and Saviour.

KARINA CELESTINE – CONTENT AND COMMUNICATION COORDINATOR
Karina began her journey in student ministry during university and has since served both nationally and regionally as Marketing & Communications Officer with IS/IVCF Trinidad & Tobago (2018–2020), and currently as Content and Communications Coordinator since 2021 with IFES Caribbean. Passionate about the intersection of ministry and media, Karina sees Spirit-led communication not just as a skill, but as a personal calling to serve in an area that is often overlooked or taken for granted. For her, communication in ministry is more than a tool, t’s a means of sharing clear, compelling, and accessible stories of God’s work across cultures and generations.

NICOLAS CHOUX – OPERATION COORDINATOR & FRANCOPHONE LIAISON
Nicolas is from the island of Martinique. He studied in Canada for his Bachelors, where he experienced and understood more the benefit of student ministry on Campus. He joined the IFES Caribbean team in 2021. He, also, was part of the team to restart the national mouvement in Martinique. He, now, serves as the Operation Coordinator (coordinating the administrative side of most regional events and assisting in other administrative work for the region) and Francophone Liaison (coordinating the francophone General Secretaries of the region as well as the french to english and english to french translations for the region).
